129 pieces of ceramics unveiled, up and down the river_Exhibition_Luohe City_Culture

On July 2, “Up and Down the River—Exhibition of Ceramics from the Yellow River Basin” opened at the Luohe Municipal Museum.

This exhibition is hosted by the Luohe Municipal Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau and co-organized by the Luohe Municipal Museum and the Zhengzhou Elephant Ceramics Museum. A total of 129 pieces (sets) of cultural relics are on display, covering the Neolithic Yangshao Culture painted pottery, Majiayao Typical ceramics from various periods include cultural painted pottery, Longshan Culture black pottery, Han Dynasty painted pottery and lead-glazed pottery, Sui Dynasty blue and white porcelain, Tang Sancai, Song Dynasty Jun porcelain, Jin Dynasty red and green porcelain.

This exhibition is divided into three chapters in chronological order: the Pre-Qin and Han Dynasties, the Sui, Tang, Song, and Jin dynasties, and the Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties, respectively telling the origin, development, and decline of ceramics in the Yellow River Basin. These exquisite ceramics are not only treasures of art, but also witnesses of history. Through the exhibition, people can deeply feel the long history and richness of the ceramic culture in the Yellow River Basin.

It is reported that the exhibition will be held from July 2 to October 7, and the general public can enter the exhibition hall with their second-generation ID cards. (Xu Tengfei Wang Chenlong)
