The clients of the program are Aaron, a boy from Zhejiang, and Arlin, a girl from Tianjin. They spanned the 1,150 kilometers distance between Tianjin and Hangzhou, have known each other for 9 years, been married for 5 years, and finally fell in love. However, while having sweet love, Arlene also faced the problem of being separated from her parents for a long time.
So Aaron chose an apartment with an area of about 120 square meters and a garden. He originally chose this apartment to make Arlene's parents live more comfortably, but after living there for a long time, the problem gradually emerged - insufficient lighting. , dark and damp...
Therefore, Aaron and Arlene hope to renovate their house with the help of Ling Zida, the designer of the program team, as a surprise for Arlene's parents, so that they can have a more secure living environment in Hangzhou.

Renovated home
The renovated home adopts a large number of electric smart furniture, which not only meets the aging-friendly function of the room, but also greatly improves the utilization of space while ensuring the beauty of the room. It can be said that it kills two birds with one stone.
Open up the living room and kitchen, and then use movable or transparent partitions to replace part of the partition walls to achieve north-south ventilation and lighting in the room. At the same time, the entire space has been extended, making it look very open and bright.
A large area of the living room and kitchen is made of beautiful L&D-Apuan white. In addition to the upper walls and lower floors, the cabinet doors, tabletops, and columns are also carefully processed. Designed with integrated guest, dining and kitchen, the beautiful restaurant received praise from my father as "just like a Western restaurant". The kitchen is opened to greatly increase the activity space, and the oversized island allows family members to switch positions at will when using it. The liftable electric lockers are convenient for the elderly and fit the theme of "aging-friendly renovation".
The small study room is connected to the living room through foldable transparent glass. Foldable glass meets the dual needs of homeowners for quiet work and communication with family members.
The bedroom uses beautiful L&D-Zhenpin carving white to turn an entire wall into a "disappearing wardrobe". 1500mm*3000mm continuous pattern bricks are used as the wardrobe cabinets. They are light, thin, wear-resistant, stain-resistant, and have continuous patterns. The effect is atmospheric and natural, adding more beauty to the space.

There were originally pipes next to the wardrobe, but the designer cleverly made use of this unused 20 centimeters and placed a transparent glass window where art can be displayed. The linear light track is movable and the humanized design makes life easier.
After the renovation, each bedroom can directly embrace the scenery of the courtyard, achieving courtyard freedom.
In order to meet the needs of aging, the designer adopted an inclined entrance design when entering the bedroom to achieve visual accessibility; an automatic night light strip was installed in the corner of the bedroom to facilitate the elderly's movement at night.
The designer transformed one of the rooms into a variable space and integrated multi-functions: when the revolving door is opened, it can directly connect to the garden to achieve north-south ventilation.It also extends the visual space. The revolving door is closed, retaining the functional attributes of the bedroom.
The intelligent transformation has brought many surprises to the owner. The picture above also shows a setup that can be used for two purposes: it is both a wall cabinet and a foldable bed. When the wall cabinet is placed down, it does not hinder the normal use of the wall cabinet, and there is no need for additional storage.
The wall next to it is painted with magnetic blackboard paint, so you can draw and write on it and wipe it off repeatedly. In addition, it can also absorb drawing tools for easy use.
The bathroom sink has been doubled in size, increasing the usable space. The faucet is telescopic, which extends the use distance of the faucet and is convenient and flexible. There are a large number of various storage drawers installed in the bathroom, which perfectly meet the various needs of the householder. The bathroom door has also been improved, making it easier to enter and exit, which is very nice.
The bathroom uses beautiful L&D-Carrara, which has super wear-resistant and anti-slip properties to protect the homeowner from having a happy bath every time. It is paired with soft lighting to create a pleasant washing atmosphere.

Hidden drainage ditches are arranged in the courtyard, and the width exposed on the ground is shortened to 1 cm, which is both beautiful and practical. A clean and tidy courtyard provides an excellent communication venue for household owners.
The outdoor garden uses the beautiful L&D-Ando clear water mold, which perfectly reproduces the semi-matte clear water mold. The "soft and silky" texture effect gives people a light and elegant feeling, and perfectly integrates with the outdoor environment, giving people a sense of leisure. , a sense of comfort.
